I married my college sweetheart, divorced in 2008 and really haven't dated at all since then. I don't think I've ever had an "adult" dating experience. The idea of meeting a stranger cold and actually going out on a date is totally foreign to me. Not sure how that works.

Originally from St. Louis, I've also lived in Detroit Boston but settled in Dallas because most of my family is here and we are really close. I love to travel. Every summer we an extended tour of a different region of North America (so far the Pacific Northwest and Vancouver are our favorite places).

On a typical weekend, we'll take a blanket and a basket and lay around the park or visit the Arts district. I would have to be pretty serious before I'd introduce anyone to my kids but, for now, I'd just appreciate the occasional night out with an interesting, attractive companion.

I love classic films, extravagant food, good books and live music. Like really smart men who keep me laughing. My musical tastes (like everything else about me) are very eclectic. All-time favorites range from Eminem to Alanis Morrisette, Elton John and Bob Dylan.
