Something New

I Would Describe Myself As

I love reading, writing and watching films. They are without doubt my three favourite past
times. If I could be any character from a book it would be Lauren from Parable of the Sower by Octavia E Butler who melt down with her own preconditions was still determined to succeed in her goals.

These three creative outlets let my imagination soar. Reading takes me to places only the imagination can travel. Watching films, lets me peak into the imagination of other imaginations and writing lets me be the Judge, Jury and Executioner of the written word until my imagination takes control and whips the gravel, note pad and hangman’s noose out of my hands. They also make my feet itchy to want to do some of these things I learn and think about.

Recently having decided that fear was the main opposition of life I am excited and happy to try new and different things. Even things which make my legs turned to jelly and my heart beat fast. But if life is not for throwing yourself off the deep end then what is the point?
